EXAM NAME: HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL OFFICERS (WB)

 

ABOUT EXAM: Homoeopathic Medical Officers under West Bengal Homoeopathic Health Service under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

 

Posts are temporary but likely to be permanent.

 

REGION: WEST BENGAL

 

MODE:  Apllication shall be made in the format available in the West Bengal Health Requirement Board Website  (www.wbhrb.in) online applications.

 

HOW MANY TIMES IN A YEAR: Exam will be conducted as per requirement. Please follow the official site for current notification.

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: 

# A bachelor degree in Homeopathy from a recognized University or Institute as included in the second schedule of the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. 

 

# The candidate must be able to speak, read and write in Bengali. 

 

Note I.- Candidates must be registered either in Part "A" of the State Register of Homeopathic Medical Practitioners maintained by the Council of Homeopathic Medicine, West Bengal, or in Part I of the Central Register maintained by the Central Council of Homeopathy.

 

Note II.- Reservation in the posts and service shall be admissible for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (Category A and Category B) as per extant rules of the Government of West Bengal other categories as the State Government may by order specified. 

 

AGE: Not more than 40 Years

The upper age limit may be relaxed for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, & other Backward Classes as per extant Rules or Orders issued by the Government.

 

NATIONALITY: Indian Citizens and such other nationals as declared eligible by the Government of  India.

                

TENTATIVE MARKS DISTRIBUTION IN THE RECRUITMENT OF HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL OFFICERS BY WEST BENGAL HEALTH RECRUITMENT BOARD

 

1)  Qualification: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) from a recognized University or Institute.

Maximum Marks: 75 (Max)

 

Remarks: Marks obtained in aggregate (1st BHMS to 4th BHMS all together) [(0.5) mark will be deducted for supplementary in each subject or chance lost]

For e.g. A student obtained 64% in aggregate, with supplementary in two subjects, the scoring will be 65 – (0.5 X 2) = 65 – 1 = 64

 

Total: 50.00% - 55.99% = 60

Total: 56.00% - 65.99% = 65

Total: 66.00% - 75.99% = 70

Total: 76.00% - 99.99% = 75

 

2)  Qualification: House Staff Ship

Maximum Marks: 5 (Max) 

 

Remarks: 

For 6 months – 2.5 marks

For 1 year – 5.0 marks 

 

3) Qualification: Other experiences in Homeopathy from any Government Institution or Government affiliated organization

Maximum Marks: 5 (Max)

 

Remarks: 1 mark for each completed year, Maximum 5 marks

Other experiences should include Clinical, Teaching, Research and other experiences in Homeopathy from any Government Institute or Government affiliated Organization excluding M.O. AYUSH under RBSK.

 

4) Qualification: Interview 

Maximum Marks: 15 (Max)

All Total: 100

 

As per Homoeopathic Medical Officer Recruitment Rule of Govt. West Bengal Knowledge of Reading and Writing in Bengali is mandatory.

 

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

No Written Test will be held as decided by the board.

 

APPLICATION FEES/ INTIMATION CHARGES:

Candidates must submit the online application fee amounting to Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred & ten) only through Banks participating in the GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal at Govt. Receipt Head of Account ‘0051-00-104-002-16’.

 

Money order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash, etc. shall not be acceptable.

 

No application shall be considered unless accompanied by the requisite application fee excepting candidates belonging to SC/ST category of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under Disabilities Rule, 1999 (certificates obtained before the Advertisement date) who do not require to pay any fee.

 

Such exemption of fee is, however, not applicable to any OBC (category A or B) candidate.
