# Coding – Decoding is the process of transmitting messages which are written in a strange way so that no individual can understand, and reach the other person safely.

# Coding is done to hide the actual information passed to a destination.

# Decoding is done to receive the actual information from the coded message.

# This is the first part of this chapter

# First of all, we must get familiar with certain ways of coding-decoding.

They are as follows:

1) Forward Order

Please note: No need to remember any other short-trick. Keep practicing with one short-cut only otherwise aspirants will confuse in the exam hall and commit serious blunders on easy questions.

2) Backward Order (Reverse Of Forward Order)

Eg: OPPOSITE of K = ?

According to the forward order or EJOTY, K = 11

Reverse order number of k = 27 – 11 = 16 [Ans]

(Check the above reverse order table and the next point is in details)

3) Opposite letter or Reflection of their positions:

# Whenever we add the values corresponding to opposite letters,  we will get only number, i.e. 27.

E + V = 5 + 22 = 27

J + Q = 10 + 17 = 27
