Seven numbers of a family P, Q, R, S, T, U, V traveling together. U is the brother of R who is the son of P. Q is the mother-in-law of S. T is the only son of R. There is two couple in the family. Q is the grandmother of V. There is no single parent in the family.

Solution:

At first, we need to do the family tree.

Step-1: U is the brother of R who is the son of P.

Step – 2: T is the only son of R.

Now we can see there is no couple till Step-2 we need to fulfill 2 couple.

Step – 3: Q is the mother-in-law of S. So S must be the wife of R and Q is the grandmother of V so Q must be the wife of P and V must be the son of R because T is the only son of R.

So full family tree is

1. So, the total number of male members of the family is 4.

So, option (b) is correct.

2. Q has 2 children. 

So, option (b) is correct.

3. T is Q’s grandson. 

So, option (d) is correct.

4. S is U’s sister-in-law.

There are 8 members in a family. Total M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, U. 3 couples are there in the family. Each male member is married. P is the husband of Q and the father of T. M is the father of P and R and the husband of N. U is the only daughter of Q.

At first, we need to make the family tree.

Step 1: P is the husband of Q and father of T so,
